In Platinum Samples Jim Scott Rock Drums Volume 1, you get almost 80GB of drum samples — loaded with the expert sound of Jim Scott. Scott's won Grammys for his rock work with Tom Petty, Santana, and Foo Fighters. He's also a triple-Grammy winner for his work with the Dixie Chicks. In this BFD Expansion, you get tons of sounds chosen by his masterful ear. There's gear from such manufacturers as Ludwig, Gretsch, Kent, Tama, Sabian, Zildjian, and Paiste.

Recorded through nothing but premium gear
Jim Scott Rock Drums Volume 1 features a selection from Jim's personal collection of classic drum kits from the 50's, 60's and 70's. The sounds were recorded at his own PLYRZ Studios using his Neve 8048 console and analog outboard gear. Jim Scott Rock Drums Volume 1 also includes samples played by Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers) and Steve Ferrone (Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Average White Band, Eric Clapton) recorded at Sound City Studios (RHCP, Tom Petty, Nirvana) using their Neve 8028 console. The drums compiled in the Rock Drums expansion have been played on albums from Robbie Robertson, The Dixie Chicks and Barenaked Ladies to the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
