Son loves this

Bought this for my son who has a very hard rock band but needed something simple for backlining at shows. Mark Maxwell always helps me find what I need and gets me a great deal.

The amp is compact and built well and thumps like its bigger brothers. True Ampeg sound. This is a great practice amp and great for small to medium sized venus. No sacrifice in performance for size.

Great Sound Control

the BA-115HP is my first AMPEG experience .. Fender, Gibson, Peavey, Randall, and GK were some of my past choices but the Ampeg has thee best sound and control by far .. and it will fill an auditorium if needed ... if it holds up as good as iot sounds, it'll be the last bass amp I'll purchase .. Great amp!

The ba115hp is worth every penny.

This will be my second 115hp ,don't let the size fool you this amp will get loud.and the ampeg tone is awesome it's what every bass player needs to sound like.I have been playing for 30 years and have played alot of amps and the 115hp is by far the best amp I have ever played.

All around solid

This bass amp is awesome. I use it at my church to play all styles of music, and since we often have classical concerts, larger choirs and other groups come and perform, this has performed very well as an all around solid amplifier. It is loud enough for a 600+ seating old-style church.

Our church cranks it up for the contemporary service and this thing has to compete with a few other amps. It holds it's ground against a Mesa Boogie 4x12 stack.

We usually have to crank it up to about 6 and it has plenty of punch.

Has a -15Db input as well which is great for my bass which has active pickups. It also has a line out which is good since we record our services, and also has a built in tuner which is great for tuning up during prayers ;)

The wheels come off easily, but also go on easy so transportation isn't much of a problem.
