Andrew MalloyYears of playing on the famous coated white heads have made me come to appreciate what a great sound it is. What I found when I tried out the G1 with the Power Center is that I get that solid punch in the center without extra overtones that can drive mix engineers mad. When you start to play off center, you get that familiar ring and all of the tone your shell gives off for a bombastic tone perfect for that big brass snare sound.
