Wickedly Cheap Fun

The sounds you get for the price are awesome. I am a guitarist first and have played for 17 years, but got the opportunity to play bass in a second band. I needed some gear and was looking at the more expensive pedals. However, after trying this one, I couldn't say no.
The sounds are great. You can get some good rock tones, some smooth sounds, and some wierd stuff that is great to mess with (synth, delays, pitch shifting). I'll admit I am not a Bass tone expert, but you get a lot of variety and editing patches is ridiculously easy. It's more like operating a stomp box than a multi-effects pedal. You are limited when it comes to editing modulation/delay effects etc. compared to other models, but check the price difference, too.
You can jam on headphones plugged into the output, which means you can do direct recording from the pedal. This is great for apartment dwellers like myself.
It is made of plastic, but it seems pretty tough. I've gigged with it and it worked great.

It's cheap, it's fun, and it sounds good. If you're thinking about it, just get one.
