The Audiophile 192 is a high-definition 4-in/4-out audio card with digital I/O and a built-in MIDI interface that represents the next step in M-Audio's line of industry-standard Delta audio cards. High-definition 24-bit/192kHz performance with digital I/O and balanced analog I/O The Audiophile 192 builds on M-Audio's Audiophile 2496 - one of the world's most popular audio cards - and features 24-bit/192kHz resolution, digital S/PDIF I/O, balanced analog I/O on 1/4" TRS jacks and an amazing signal-to-noise ratio of -108dB at 48kHz. The digital I/O supports surround-encoded AC-3 and DTS pass-through when used with Windows XP and Mac OS X computers, so you can listen to surround audio from DVDs and encoded tracks from your audio software. Zero-latency direct hardware input monitoring plus flexible I/O routing Monitoring your recording is easy with the Audiophile 192's zero-latency hardware input monitoring support. The separate balanced 1/4" TRS monitor outputs can be routed to a mixer or powered speakers, whichever you need in your studio. In addition, input and output routing can be controlled via included software to provide maximum flexibility for your recording setup. And the S/PDIF digital I/O can be routed to and from external effects processors to give you even more sound shaping options. Rock-solid drivers and compatibility with most audio software The Audiophile 192, as with all Delta cards, gives you rock-solid drivers and seamless integration with your favorite Mac and PC applications - and even the ability to combine multiple Delta cards in one system. The Audiophile 192 comes with ASIO, WDM, GSIF 2 and CoreAudio driver support for compatibility with most software applications. Pro Tools M-Powered compatible With Pro Tools M-Powered and an M-Audio interface, like the Audiophile 192, you can work anywhere, anytime with the industry standard in music production software. You can open sessions created in Pro Tools M-Powered software with any Windows XP or Mac OS X Digidesign Pro Tools TDM or LE system, giving you unprecedented production options for your music. The latest version of Pro Tools M-Powered streamlines MIDI production with the introduction of Instrument Tracks, support for multi-processor use with RTAS plug-ins for increased performance, and a load of other performance-enhancing upgrades.
