Im using this as an interface between a reference mic and my laptop running Smarrt Live rta. Compact, easy to use and most of all it has no background noise floor to affect my readings.

I needed an audio interface for "on the go" with my old MacBook Pro, which runs a Logic Pro 10.4 for a basic sketching. Nothing fancy, just something compact and rugged. Not a problem-just plug and play experience, no driver was needed. Excellent tracking with no latency. Just make sure your Mac has a faster SSD. Some people point finger at their audio interface as the cause for latency. The reason for that starts with a stock HDD in the computer.
The addition of the iPad/IOS connectivity is SWEET. You would need to use the USB cable with 5v adapter that has at least 2.5 A current draw. Yes, it is rather high current draw and a regular iPhone adapter might get really hot. So do read the specs on your adapter. Would be nice by Presonus to include the adapter in their package..oh well..I guess the share holders did not approve that one cause it would increase the cost of the packaging lol.
Still a great deal for this price, even at 2022, many years after this product was initiated to the market.

Couldn't pass this one up. It was discounted for Black Friday and I really needed something that would work with my new laptop running Windows 11. Comes with Studio One Artist. Had to spend some time, trial & error, but with online tutorials, got it up and running. An excellent musician that I've been collaborating with from across the country sent me some tracks to lay down guitar tracks. Again, with some trial & error, I was able to upload his tracks and laid down some straight, clean, guitar. I later added FX to my guitar tracks, mixed the song, and sent it back along with my individual tracks so he could do a mix if he wished to do so. There are many usable features that I still need to learn in Studio One Artist, but it will be worth the time & effort. Now to the interface. It is a small, basic interface, but is all that I need (guitar, bass, keyboards, & vocals). Feels pretty solid and well constructed. The sound quality of the guitar tracks that I've recorded is very good, especially for something at this price point. Still learning, but am happy with the purchase. As usual, Mitch Dazey, at Sweetwater, really took care of me and it only took a couple days to receive my order. Thanks Mitch and Sweetwater!
