Legendary Analog Synth in a Plug-in!

Arturia's ARP 2600 V 2 brings the legendary analog synthesizer back to life, so you can inject you tracks with classic sound. Used notably by Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, Genesis, and others, ARP dominated the synth world on 1970s stages and in recordings. Here with the ARP 2600 V2, you get a software version that adds capabilities the original never had, including MIDI control, polyphony, and the ability create/save/recall presets. Plus, you can also play with four tracking generators and extra effects to take the ARP 2600 sound in your own direction with Arturia ARP 2600 V2.

ARP 2600 V 2 Analog Synthesizer Software Virtual Instrument and Plug-in at a Glance:
  • A software re-creation of an analog classic
  • Adds sonic options the ARP 2600 never had

A software re-creation of an analog classic
Alan R. Pearlman, passionate about both electronic music and the piano, created ARP Instruments in 1969. The large modular ARP 2500 was an initial success, but the company really broke out with the unveiling of the ARP 2600 in 1972. Such famous players as Stevie Wonder, Joe Zawinul (Weather Report), Tony Banks (Genesis), Jean-Michel Jarre, and Herbie Hancock made the instrument a core part of their sound. And with the ARP 2600 V 2, Arturia brings this legendary synthesizer back to life.

Adds sonic options the ARP 2600 never had
On top of giving you the spot-on sounds of the ARP 2600, the ARP 2600 V2 virtual instrument/plug-in adds a few features to modernize the instrument, if you want. For starters, you've got MIDI control and polyphony at your fingertips. Next, you can create, save, and recall presets - very handy. Beyond that, four tracking generators add sound-design possibilities and additional effects let you take the classic ARP 2600 in your own direction.

Our Customers Say...

Ninety-five percent of everything in this studio came from Sweetwater. My Sales Engineer is a lifesaver. I started working with him around 2005, talking to him about what my vision was for the studio. He was right there all the way.
