The only official Fender modeling software suite
The gear wizards at Fender and the software wizards at IK Multimedia worked closely together to create AmpliTube Fender. And it is, in fact, the only official Fender guitar/bass amplifier and effects software suite available. AmpliTube Fender offers models of Fender's must-have gear — from vintage to modern — and from guitar to bass, for blues to rock to punk to metal and beyond. It works standalone, when you just want to jam out, but it also works as a plug-in within most every DAW, as it's VST, AU, and RTAS compatible. AmpliTube Fender is 100% sound-certified and approved by Fender.

Offers up models of 45 pieces of must-have gear
Inside IK Multimedia's AmpliTube Fender, you'll find 45 pieces of great gear, all modeled and brought to life on the digital realm. There are everything from the Twin Reverb, the '59 Bassman LTD, the Super-Sonic, and the Metalhead — to great stompboxes, such as the '63 Fender. Rack effects from the Cyber-Twin series include pitch shift, tape echo, sine chorus, triangle flanger, wah, and compression. Plus, there are even two microphone models from Groove Tubes — the MD1b-FET and the VELO-8.

Can have two fully configurable rigs with up to 32 simultaneous effects
Put together your dream Fender signal chain within AmpliTube Fender — and have fun doing it. You can have two complete rigs set up, with 32 simultaneous effects in each — and you can easily jump between the two rigs, when you want to shake up your tone. Hundreds of presets are included, so you have great launching points from the get-go. Plus, you can share your presets or borrow great finds from other users, by visiting the online AmpliTube preset XChange area.

Includes SpeedTrainer and Riffworks T4 recording software
Work up your chops using the included SpeedTrainer — then, if you don't have a DAW of choice, you'll be set to record using the included Riffworks T4 recording software. There's also a handy digital tuner built into AmpliTube Fender.

MIDI-controllable onstage and in the studio
You don't have to restrict your studio — or stage — AmpliTube Fender jams to strictly mouse-control. Get your hands off your mouse and onto real stompbox switches, using either the IK Multimedia StompIO or the StealthPedal, to bring effects in and out. Putting the effects at your feet makes it easy to record killer performances — just like you're performing on the real gear.

They nailed it with this!

I have tried most of the main products out there, and was able to compare this directly to Guitar Rig 3, PodFarm, and Amplitube Hendrix & Amplitube 2.0, A/Bing each with the Fender's tone. What's amaz... read more [+]ing is that the Fender amps here are so precise and accurate, that when comparing a '64 Twin (the only one they all have), it's an absolute step above the pack.

There's a certain lushness to the sound that just isn't replicated in any of the others, and the convolution reverb on the twin is astounding! I wish I could be more specific, because I spent a ton of time trying to dial in the matching tone for each product - but there's detail in this package that is not on the others (it could just be the advancement in modeling technology over the past 5 years).

That said, I do like them all - and I've always been one to take modeling on it's own terms, I don't necessarily believe that it's about matching a tone perfectly, but it's really about letting these stand as amps on their own. But, if you're looking for an authentic Fender replication - make no mistake, these are by far the best out there. It's actually a little disappointing to me because I play live through a Pod X3, and wish I could have this Amplitube Fender tone instead.

When you combine the other amps on top of the standards that you get here (I happen to love the bass amps as well), it's a great package - one that I'd recommend purchasing even if you have other modeling products. close [-]

Great Modeling

Like the Ampeg SVX plug-in, the models in this set are spot on.
I was able to A/B some of the models with the same amps and
microphone combinations, and the only real difference was the ... read more [+]room.
The Bassman 300 is a nice addition and a solid amp for tracking bass.
As with any modeling plug-in, the better the D.I. the more accurate
the amp model. This plug-in interacts with the instrument in the
same way an actual amp does, which is what sets it apart from
the rest of the crowd. For less than the cost of a single cheap amp
you get a great selection of Fender classics. close [-]

Sweetwater Advice

I just started using this software and I'm hooked. From clean tones to metal, this software will do it. It really is the best sounding Fender amp software out there. AmpliTube is being used on all of my tracks now.

Wow not so much.

I bought this as part of a bundle that included Jimi Hendrix and other progs. At first i messded around with it and itsounded good...but then I went to use it some weeks later and...whew...CRAP. I do ... read more [+]not know what happened but no matter what I do the sounds are very ordinary. The bass response if perfectly awful. I recorded snippets and wrote some questions and sent them to IK mUltimedia...NO response whatsoever. They must've thought I was some kind of idiot but I have been doing this stuff for over 30 years.

Anyway I tossed the idea in favor of just mic'ing amps as alway...still no better way to really get the right sound and response. But I sure wish I hadnt wasted any money on the very mediocre (at best) program. Blechhh close [-]
