Don't know how I did w/o it. Price was good also.from Indiana May 20, 2010Music Background: hobbyist bad with lows, but does the jobThis is a nice tuner for a guitar or other stringed treble instrument, but it looses it when you clip it on a bass. It's great if you don't want to plug a tuner into your effects loop and you can turn the light to bright, normal, or off completely to save battery (which lasts forever btw). It does have trouble with low notes, however. I think this is a problem with the overall design of clip-on tuners though. The vibration is so low that it can show the wrong note or not even register at all sometimes. Drop C tends to get iffy on the low E and A strings on a guitar and the low E on my bass sometimes shows up wrong all together. The display doesn't always show the changes in tuning until you hit the string again. This can be frustrating, especially if you're not used to tuning by ear and you're tuning down. I wouldn't suggest this for beginners.
