Every system should have one

I install sound systems for churches and schools. For the last 18 months I've delivered an ART AVDirect with every system I've done. This is a very simple way to get virtually any device that plays music connected into a balanced mixer input. This is a really handy device.

Sound quality is excellent.

Great Little Tool

Worked perfectly to help convert 1/8" stereo HiZ output from computer to XLR in order to feed effects unit (VoiceWorks Harmonizer). Gain control is a great feature. Can see this a a very useful tool to help work between DAW and outboard effects.

AVDirect si great

Our Youth Group needed a way to play iPods and computer-based music and movies over the sound system. I loaned them my AVDirect. They loved it so much the church bought one. The AVDirect makes it so easy. Just plug and play. The multiple input jacks mean I don't have to scramble for the right adaptor. I especially love the gain control that can allow you to control levels near the source rather than having to yell back to the sound tech!

Great little tool...

This is a great little tool/direct box. If you are looking for a way to convert stereo to XLR, this will do the trick. I was looking for way to convert stereo DAW out of my computer 1/8" to XLR for processing with VoiceWorks harmonizer. This worked like a charm! Solved my problem - and would certainly recommend. Solidly built.
