A great mic

I Purchased one for our church, and liked them so much that I purchased 9 more. The have a smooth sound and clarity. The first time I set it up on a soloist I had to come out the video room to if what I heard on the headphone was the same as the congregation heard. This is the Mics that I use to mic the children's choir . I am well pleased with this product and the service from Sweetwater.

I won't perform without this mic! Another great mic from Audio-Technica is the AT2010. Like the ATM710 it is a condenser and does a fantastic job for live and recording purposes. Stop wasting your money on the so called "big names". Audio-Technica has supplied the microphones for the Country Music Awards for the past 14 years so they ARE one of the big names. Chesney sure knows it! You won't find a better vocal mic anywhere at any price.

Another winner

I brought the ATM 610 which is a hyercardioid dynamic mic and I was so impressed I thought I'd also get this upgrade the ATM 710 and wow! what another winner. this is a very powerful sensitive mic , and the great thing is that it picks up every detail in your voice , even the tiny nuances, the whispers and promixy effect is great .Folks who know how to use mic techniques will find this a real treat.

People tell me that these mics are also great on accoustic guitars.
I am going to use both the 610 and the 710 to stereo mic my guitars when I record on my digital 8 track.

Its like having a studio quality mic when singing live.
