Active noise-cancelling
The ATH-ANC3 headphones use QuietPoint active noise-cancelling technology, delivering an impressive 85% noise cancellation. Unlike some in-ear headphones that actively cancel only low frequencies, the ATH-ANC3s cancel noise across a broad frequency range and are powered by just one AAA battery. Should you find yourself needing to listen to an important outside announcement or conversation, you can quickly mute the noise-cancelling function with the monitor switch, which will stop the ATH-ANC3's reliance on battery power. You can also use these headphones without the noise-cancelling for excellent in-ear sound without needing a battery.
