Customer Reviewsfrom Houston, Texas April 20, 2009 Music Background: Audio Producer, Voice Over Talent AT835B Shotgun MicI have used the MKH416 and recently decided to try the AT835B in the same environment. I WAS SHOCKED! The Audio Technica sounded just as great as the much more costly Sennheisser mic. Very warm and not a lot of room noise was captured. Very impressive! This mic has earned a place in my studio!from cupertino, ca October 17, 2006 Music Background: arranger, producer & noisemaker ideal for radio documentary recording, ambient noise capturecant say enough good things about it. sounds amazing, travels well, doesnt intimidate interviewees. using it for radio show interviews alongside a roland R09 flash recorder and the combination is top notch.

from South Louisiana July 1, 2004 Fantastic Shot-Gun!You can't beat this for the price. At Wolf Digital Media we've been using this puppy for a year now and get fantastic sound from it. I've used it in pro-video situations direct to the camera's input without phantom power, through a BeachTek mixer, through a NotePad 4-channle mixer, and it just plain delivers great sound. I've used it going direct into a VS-1680 raw and it delivers fantasticly clean and detailed sound. It has also come in handy as a back-up mic on location when what we planned to use falls through. I NEVER go on a shoot without this mic anymore. I feel the only way to get a better shot-gun mic is to spend a LOT more money. |
