It has a silky, smooth and airy high-en... read more [+]d combined with a lush,full and articulate midrange rounded by a nice compressed full sounding bottom end. The proximity effect can be used to add just the right amount of balance in vocals. It sounds great on female vocals as well. Smoothing the high end and adding a nice bottom to make the vocal sit eloquently in the mix. It responds well to solid state and tube pre-amps and is very easy to eq. I also had to use AT customer service after a power supply issue and could not have asked for better care. AT next-dayed it there and back and called to make sure it was working like I wanted it to. Highly recommended and a bargain. close [-]
