ART 310-A - Active 2-Way PA Speaker with Astounding Sound! The RCF ART 310-A is the reference-quality, powered PA speaker we've all been waiting for. We tested RCF ART 310-A powered PA speakers at a live gig. It was the first time we actually had people from the audience come up to us afterward and compliment the sound quality of our PA system! The ART 310-A is perfect for live sound, corporate events, and presentations where high output and excellent sound quality must be met with compact size. With its superb bass punch and precise, linear frequency response, you'll be hard-pressed to find a better active PA speaker than the RCF ART 310-A. RCF ART 310-A at a Glance:
Active 2-way Speaker The RCF ART 310-A is an active, wide-dispersion 2-way sound reinforcement speaker. It integrates a high power 350-watt amplifier, a complete electronic processor section, and RCF's low distortion, high power neodymium transducers. The system is unique in its class for output and vocal intelligibility. The new 10" woofer is equipped with high-performance, lightweight Neodymium magnets with a 2.5" voice coil. Specific attention has been paid to magnetic circuit polarization for optimum thermal immunity, which provides advantages in system portability and high-frequency clarity (due to the force of magnetic flux in the gap exceeding 2 kilogauss). All this adds up to the ART 310-A's high output efficiency and controlled bass response. 1.5" Mylar Dome Compression Driver The compression driver uses a new 1.5" Mylar dome design and optimized geometry radial phase plug. This innovative design is powered by a high-flux neodymium magnet offering a very open and natural midrange sound with extreme precision in high-frequency reproduction. A generous 2-step class H design is used to power the low frequencies and the compression driver amplifier is a warm and clear class AB design. TAED Amplifier and Neodymium Woofer Incredibly lightweight, the RCF ART 310-A uses a high-efficiency True Active Extended Dynamic (TAED) amplifier. Quite frankly, it cranks out the most output we've ever heard from 10" active speaker system. The result of nearly ten years at the forefront of active speaker design and manufacture, RCF's True Active Extended Dynamic amplifier technology provides the perfect match of amplifier to transducer. The goal of TAED amplification is to increase the effective dynamic range of the loudspeaker system, which provides improved sonic accuracy, vocal clarity, and increased depth and resolution of the audio signals. RCF is able to achieve this because quite simply, they design and manufacture ALL of the ingredients. RCF's new generation of active amplifier modules are designed with a new Double Wave Limiting System that along with providing improved transducer protection, guarantees the full use of the true dynamic range of the power amplifier. This in turn dramatically reduces distortion levels as well. The result is a powerful, reference-quality sound for your live gigs. Mic/Line Input with Master Volume Control The input section features an XLR input connector that is switchable from microphone to line levels. A master volume control and a handy XLR signal output allows extra versatility. The processor section includes an active crossover, system equalization, transducer phase-alignment, limiter, and protection functions. The system is visually monitored via 4 status LEDs. Strong, Lightweight, Polypropylene Enclosure The ART 310-A is housed in a rugged, road-worthy, and lightweight polypropylene composite enclosure. The woofer is protected by a strong, powder-coated, metal grille. The cabinet features two M10 threaded fly-points, a 35mm stand adaptor, plus an ergonomically-designed top handle for easy transportation. RCF ART 310-A Features:
If you've been waiting for the ultimate in compact, powered PA speakers, your wait is over. Treat yourself and your sound to the RCF ART 310-A! RCF: The Transducer Innovators During the last ten years RCF has come into the forefront of active loudspeaker technology, placing RCF as the market leaders in True Active Loudspeaker Technology and transducer development. Their designs and manufacturing know-how is incorporated into active PA loudspeaker systems manufactured and distributed the world over. The Rules of Sound There are many different ingredients that go into creating quality products and systems. These include computer aided simulation software to assist the understanding of transducer behavior and amplifier operation, as well as the relationship between dynamics and transient response. To identify magnetic flux patterns, voice coil dynamics, suspension linearity, horn dispersion simulation, crossover filters, amplifier thermal behavior and etc RCF utilizes over thirty state of the art software packages. However, in the final analysis, it's RCF's vast practical experience the gives RCF loudspeaker systems their amazingly clear, and thrilling sound. 50 Years of Innovative Design With over 50 years of experience designing innovative speaker systems, RCF has developed proprietary transducer technologies, which allow them to achieve the optimum blend between state of the art components and innovative, purpose-designed electronics. The RCF loudspeaker line incorporates a vast range of transducers covering the entire audio spectrum. RCF designs transducers to achieve purity of sound, the absence of distortion, and the ability to withstand high power levels over a long period of time. RCF's advanced transducer technology includes the application of high-tech materials such as carbon fibre, damped titanium, plus Kevlar and Mylar hybrids. RCF has been instrumental in technological inventions such as: carbon fibre cone moulding, double silicon spiders, inside/outside voice-coil winding and compression driver topology, edge-wound voice coil manufacturing, and pure titanium diaphragm forming. RCF's latest developments have resulted in utilizing state-of-the-art Neodymium magnetic materials and Direct Drive Voice Coil Assembly.
