The IK Multimedia ARC room correction software system measures, calculates the acoustics in your room, then applies correction via an advanced EQ plug-in. Using an included profesionally calibrated measurement microphone, ARC (Advanced Room Correction) software measures your room's acoustics and formulates corrections. The system then uses a frequency/time-correction processing plug-in to work with your DAW, giving you a "corrected" environment every time. If you want the most accurate, optimum room for recording, use ARC to make it happen.

  • Type: 1/4" precision measurement condenser microphone
  • Polar pattern: omnidirectional, free field
  • Capsule frequency response: 20-16,000Hz
  • Calibrated frequency response when used with ARC: 16-20,000Hz, +/- 1.5dB
  • Output: transformerless, electronically balanced, 200 ohms output impedance
  • Sensitivity: 50 mV/Pa
  • Noise Equivalent Level: 22dB
  • Max SPL: 130dB for 3% THD

Every studio still needs great monitors along with proper acoustical treatment. But I'm amazed at what the ARC System can do to further compensate for your room's acoustics so that you can hear your mix the way it really sounds! A great solution for all studios!

I got this software with hopes it would help my mixes translate better on other systems. I'm mixing in a less than optimal room and even after an acoustical 'treatment' with diffusors and bass traps ... read more [+]my mixes still weren't sounding good outside the studio. Installation was a breeze and I noticed a difference almost instantly! It was like cotton balls were pulled out of my ears. Overall I am very pleased with the results. I varified the final results with my SMAART System, and found it to be within +or - 1.5 db of stated final response. So, DONT buy plugins to enhance your sound before you know what it is your enhancing. Get your room right first, then you may enhance your *** off after that. close [-]
