Very cool...Awesome even!I mean, this product is EXACTLY what you expect, and its just what a professional musician needs to record and then polish their own tracks. If you can't afford to get a 2500 compressor as a companion, however, I would stay clear of this product and try out the API "lunchbox" full of your favorite API and Chandler goodies!If you can afford a full rack of all API gear, but not an API console, then green light this buy (and start saving for a pair of 2500's and a pair of 550's)...this is FOR YOU! Also API pres just LOVE high end dynamic mics (Heil, E/V, Sennheiser), get 'em DIRTY (the Christina Aguilera kind of "dirty" lol, the good kind) with API! Sexy, yeah baby! I've played with this extensively, and on a few occasions I was actually allowed to touch them lol. I have been putting it aside for this for a while, and I can't wait to own it, but I don't do a lot of recording these days, so first things first...I need some real bad-azz monitors and an D/A upgrade.
