Ibanez's AM Series gets it right
The Ibanez AM Series guitars walk the line between solid and semi-hollowbody. Ibanez fitted the AM93 with two Super 58 Custom humbucking pickups that serve up everything from creamy, nuanced jazz tones to a biting growl. Dime these pups, though, through your overdriven tube amp or your favorite boost pedal (or both), and deploy a barrage of fat, snarling humbucker tone.
