Incredible Value

I really was not expecting a whole lot from a hollow body guitar at this price. Boy, was I wrong.

The quality of this instrument is way beyond my expectations. It is very good. Aesthetically, the wood grains are very appealing and symmetrical on the front and back. The inlays and purfling are very nicely done. It is well balance for me and fits my physique very well.

As far as the playability, it has a very nice neck that fits my hands perfectly. It is a very comfortable neck.

The sound is very very nice. I love the tone of this guitar. Acoustically, it is very warm and "woody" sounding and transfers to the amplifiers very nicely.

Overall, I am more than impressed with this instrument for its price. I would have guessed that it was a $1000-$1500 instrument.

Being a lefty, it is extremely hard to find quality instruments. This is certainly a very nice instrument and far exceeds the value of the price.

I also want to comment on the outstanding service that the staff at Sweetwater has given me. They are great people and extremely helpful. This has truly been the nicest on-line purchase experience I have ever had.

L-5 on the cheap

Overall, this guitar is extraordinary. It is NOT an L-5, but it approaches that territory, at a modest price. Tone-wise, you can dial in most anything. Playability: excellent. It will feedback easily to uncomfortable levels when you are in a loud ensemble; but, in a nice way, ride your volume pots.
Woods & workmanship, fit & finish are very good.
I have persuaded one of my band-mates to buy one, ... two others are showing interest.
