Customer Reviewsfrom Chicago, IL November 9, 2012Music Background: Drummer and bass player pushin' a thousand gigs. Very surprised!I've had this bass for a week now. Got it to take to acoustic jams. I'm amazed at the low end acoustically and plugged-in, it's a monster!from Pittsburgh, PA January 7, 2012Music Background: None Acoustic BassThis was purchased as a gift and the recipient was totally thrilled!from Midlothian,Va January 17, 2013Music Background: Pro Musician Nice GuitarI had the opportunity to play some of the other acoustic basses in this price point in a live setting with full P.A. and none could touch the tone of the AEB10. I have played it live and could not be happier with the playability and tone. Unplugged it doesn't project all that well but the mandolin player will not drown you out. Yeah the action is a little high, but that suits my playing style. Overall you get a spruce top, nice binding work, and the sunburst looks much better in person. If you need an acoustic bass for when the gig calls for it, at this price point ,I recommend it.from Richland, WA January 25, 2013Music Background: Weekend Warrior Dodgy ElectronicsI own an AEB10BK. Had it for a couple of years. The thing has been cutting in in out (a really slow, gradual fade) but I was using it acoustically and it didn't matter. Needed it work, so I take it into the shop and there's three (3) of the things, all waiting for preamps. At $165 to $265 a throw, the Fishburn II electronics aren't worth the trouble. Unless they've done something with the electronics in the last couple of years, I'd steer clear.
