I have played it live and could not be ... read more [+]happier with the playability and tone. Unplugged it doesn't project all that well but the mandolin player will not drown you out. Yeah the action is a little high,but that suits my playing style. Overall you get a spruce top,nice binding work,and the sunburst looks much better in person. If you need an acoustic bass for when the gig calls for it, at this price point ,I recommend it. close [-]

At $165 to $265 a throw, the Fishburn II electronics aren't worth the trouble. Unless they've done something with the electronics in the last couple of years, I'd steer clear. close [-]
