I have owned and used this microphone for stage use for a couple of years now and, in my opinion, this is clearly one of the best sounding stage condenser mic I have ever used (tenor vocals). When I ... read more [+]first used it with our band's PA, I was quite surprised at the sound and the ability to "nuance" a bit more with my vocals (nice clarity and presence). Plenty of gain and no issues with wind noise, plosives, handling noise, or feedback. So far, I haven't needed to use a windscreen with this mic. To my ear, it seems to have a little bit of vocal "coloring" compared to some of my other mics, but it works very well for my vocal range. I own a Neumann KMS105 and, although they are both absolutely wonderful mics, my personal preference (for stage use) has been the AE5400. close [-]
