Excellent
by Guitar Hero from New York City, December 2006

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because I wish it had more channel switching options. However, the sound is awesome! You won't find a richer sounding tone unless you buy an AC30 and crank it up. Highly reccommended.
Endless Fun!
by Alex from Charlotte, NC USA, December 2006

This is THE ultimate amp. You can get SO many tones its not funny. You can get a beautiful clean tone and you can go straight to the muddy, od tone. You can get a 70's or 80's UK stack, or get the tone of an AC 15/30. The preset effects are great too. I just use the amp tones and use effect pedals but it sounds great stock. I would buy the footswitch because you have 2 programable channels. This is the best amp even if you already have one. It provides so much entertainment and its loud, real loud.
Very Rich & Quality Sounding Amp
by Phil from Conway, SC USA, October 2006
Music Background: Student / Hobbyist
I liked this amp right out of the box and I like it even more six months later. In my opinion this is one of the best deals for a quality less expensive amp. I mainly use the clean channel but the distortion also has a great sound. It is easy to find any tone you are looking for on this thing. You can go from ACDC "Hells Bells" to Stevie Ray Vaughan's "Lenny" with the push of a button or tap of the footswitch. For the price you wont find better value in an amp.
Why buy any other amp under $300
by Brendan , December 2005
It's not tweed or orange, or a stack, or even an AC30 when you dial it up to AC30. There might be some fuzz that can be EQ'd out (hint: kill the treble, don't boost anything), but you're not going to find a more versatile or fun amp for under $500. Dial up Botique Clean for that dumb jazz sound. Or Boutique Overdrive for that dumb crunch (really does sound like Santana!). Hit tweed or the ACs for a nice middle ground - the sounds of country, classic rock, and pop guitars are all here, with a handy wattage knob hidden on the back (.1W to 30W) so you don't get evicted or fined. Most importantly, you're not stuck with presets, every one of the amp models you dial in is highly modifiable to match that sound in your head. But I see no reason to spend on the 50 or 100 version. Save for a real All-Tube driven classic if you're going to spend more. Mic this until then.
