Two twelves - no waiting
The Vox AC15C2 tube combo amp has been juiced with the addition of a second 12" Celestion Greenback (yes, there's a 1x12 version, and we love it - but read on). Guitar aficionados on both sides of the pond have long agreed that in the realm of combo amps, two-twelves rule. The second speaker lets the AC15C2 speak with clout, depth, and projection you just don't get from a single-speaker amp. And bigger amps, frankly, look better onstage. Seriously, you're getting classic Vox visuals here. Quite attractive.

Tone, tone - and more tone
Although the Vox AC15C2 sports only 15 watts, these are tube watts, and this thing gets loud. Lease-breaking loud. With fifteen watts to kick around, you also get copious tone mojo that you have to fight for in higher-wattage amps. Yes - you can play small-to-medium sized clubs with it. And your audiences will eat up the tone.

A hidden advantage of the Vox AC15C2's 2x12 chassis is that Vox sandwiched in the larger spring reverb tank found in the also-wonderful AC30C2. This reverb is lush, and quite warm-sounding. Vox has also wisely included their classic tremolo effect, complete with adjustable controls for speed and depth.
