Pure Vox tone
Plug into the AC15C1's Normal channel and use the volume, master volume, and Tone Cut controls to shape your tone. Or, take advantage of Vox's venerable Top Boost channel, which adds adjustable bass and treble controls. You can literally take the AC15C1 Custom from brilliant, sparkling clean to the kind of powerful, compressed overdrive you just won't find anywhere else!

Legendary Vox tremolo and reverb
Sweeten your sound using the classic Vox-style tremolo, adjusting speed and depth to get your sound right where you want it, from classic swampy-throbs to choppy stutters. You'll also like having the warm Spring Reverb onboard to add space to your tone. The AC15C1's Reverb and Tremolo effects can be turned on and off via footswitch for convenience.

What's behind this British-flavored sonic goodness? Vox loaded the AC15C1 Custom with three 12AX7 preamp tubes, and equipped the powerplant with a pair of EL84 power tubes. This arrangement gives you great sustain, amazing response, and distinctive, compressed overdrive when you crank it up. The AC15C1 Custom's beautiful signal is pumped into a premium Celestion GM12 Greenback speaker - the perfect complement to a fine amp!
