More Monitor Gain & Power For Your Digital Snake! The Aviom A-16II Personal Mixer makes your digital snake even more powerful! It's an updated version of the original A-16 Personal Mixer, with newly designed higher voltage and higher current output circuitry. The new output design lets you use even high impedance headphones and drive them louder and cleaner. It also provides cleaner transient response to the entire range of output devices. The A-16II includes a new auto-detect circuit at the output that determines whether the device plugged into its audio out jack is mono or stereo. You'll never short out one side of the mixer's stereo output electronics again! Auto-detect also makes it easier to implement mono devices with the Personal Monitor Mixing System. When a mono plug is detected in the output jack, the A-16II's circuit automatically pans the right channel information so that the individual channel balance remains accurate. New solo mode, global trim and more! Several new software enhancements have been added to the A-16IIi, in response to input from users around the world. A new solo mode, called Held Solo, allows you to remain in Solo mode on the A-16II and make channel selections without returning to Mix mode. A Global Trim function makes it easy to decrease the volume by 6dB on all sixteen mixer channels simultaneously with a simple button combination. Also, the A-16II Personal Mixer can now display the last selected mix Preset, a handy way to help you update and save presets. Supports Yamaha digital mixers! The A-16II Personal Mixer is compatible with the new AVIOM16/o-Y1 Yamaha Output Card, an expansion card for Yamaha digital mixers supporting the mini-YGDAI format. The AVIOM16/o-Y1 card allows Aviom A-16II Personal Mixers to be directly connected to Yamaha digital consoles. Easier to use A new writing surface, or "scribble strip" has been added to the A-16II that gives you more room for channel names and also allows for standard masking tape to be used on the mixer. New label text now includes button combination information for the Global Trim function as well as clearer labeling of the Bass and Treble tone controls. The new A-16II Personal Mixer is fully compatible with all existing Aviom Personal Monitor Mixing Systems and with Aviom's AN-Series of Distributed Audio Network products. As with all Aviom A-Net compatible products, cable runs of up to 500 feet (150 meters) are possible between devices. All this makes the A-16II a powerful addition to your digital monitor mix uses!
