One Central Power Source For EIGHT Personal Mixers! The Aviom A-16D Pro A-Net Distributor makes using Aviom A-16 Personal Monitor Mixers easier! The A-16D Pro eliminates the need to daisy-chain A-16 Personal Mixers, simplifying stage and studio setups. Power for the entire unit is provided by an internal switching power supply, with an IEC connector on the rear panel. Isolated DC power for eight A-Net mixers via Cat-5 cable makes it unnecessary to use a power supply at each mixer station! When used with the AN-Series of distributed audio network products, the A-16D Pro can help make even the most complex audio routing schemes simple to implement. Flexible features The A-16D Pro is designed to distribute the A-Net Signal from any of Aviom's A-Net compatible products, including the AN-16/i Input Module, the A-16T Transmitter, the original A-16D Distributor, or another A-16D Pro Distributor. Flexible A-Net routing and nearly unlimited expansion! Each A-16D Pro accepts one A-Net input signal and provides for eight simultaneous A-Net outputs using standard Category-5 cables. The A-16D Pro Distributor also features a dedicated A-Net Thru jack that allows the A-Net signal to be sent to other A-16D Pro A-Net Distributors, providing for virtually unlimited system expansion. In addition, the Thru jack can be used to connect other A-Net compatible units, such as the AN-16/o Output Module, allowing the A-16D Pro to become a central link in an audio distribution network. Independent power for all The A-16D Pro Distributor All connections for A-Net In, Out, and Thru use Neutrik's EtherCon connectors. EtherCon connectors feature a heavy duty XLR-style barrel that provides extra protection for cable ends and also provides a quick-release locking mechanism. The A-16D Pro A-Net Distributor provides eight channels of isolated (floating ground) DC power to the connected A-16 Personal Monitor Mixers directly, eliminating the need for a power supply at each mixer's location. The original A-16D Distributor remains in the product line. The A-16D Pro does not require any external DC power supplies. Inside the A-16D Pro A-Net Distributor is Aviom's unique power sub-system design which virtually eliminates the possibility of introducing hum or ground loops into an audio system. Easy front-panel control All A-Net connections on the A-16D Pro are on the front panel. A pass-through cable cutout is provided for flexible cable routing.
