Warm tube sounds
Whether you want to really drive you signal or keep it clean and warm, the LaChapell 992EG lets you dial in the perfect amount of tube goodness. Each channel input section features two 12AX7 tubes and a Jensen JT-115k input transformer, this setup provides around 74dB of gain. The more you push the input stage the more harmonics and distortion you generate. The output stage features 12AU7 tubes and a Jensen JT-11BM output transformer, this stage was designed to be crystal clear and clean. If you dial back the input gain and raise the output gain you get great sounding, airy vocals and brilliant sounding acoustic guitars. The LaChapell 992EG is a flexible, great sounding tool for your studio.

hi-Z inputs
Record your guitar or bass directly into the 992EG via the two hi-Z inputs on the front panel. The hi-Z input utilizes a high performance direct transformer that feeds the amplifier input, and this double balanced method produces the rich, clear, and full sound we all want.

Solid construction
Designed for "road" use, the 992EG front panel is made from high grade aluminum and is completed with a powder coated finish. Premium components and painstaking care are used when assembling these units. The LaChapell 992EG tube preamp is ruggedly designed to last.
