From Our Research Team:

Discover the Difference a Taylor Guitar Can Make!

The 800 Series traces its roots to Bob Taylor's first guitars and reflects many of his most enduring ideas. The new 800s feature quartersawn Indian rosewood backs and sides, premium-grade Sitka spruce tops, and a new pearl inlay design. A shimmering abalone rosette complements the upgraded white binding with black purfling.

Taylor Guitar 810ce
There's only one way to turbo-charge the classic 810 - add a cutaway for upper-neck access and the Expression System™ for the ultimate in crowd-pleasing tone.

Taylor Guitar 810ce Wood
Sitka's touted dynamic range has met its match in the Expression System™. Together, they can take the 810ce from a whisper to a roar in a fraction of a second. Rosewood's renowned bass response gets a boost from the 810ce's redesigned bracing.

Taylor Guitar 810ce Body Type: Dreadnought
A traditional shape refined, we combine classic dreadnought volume and bass response with the definitive Taylor sound: clear trebles and an open, airy midrange that Bob Taylor's signature design accentuates. Recent re-voicing turns up the bass and volume even more. Dreadnoughts respond especially well to flatpicking or light-to-heavy strumming.

Taylor Expression System™
Designed to faithfully reproduce your guitar's native tone, the Expression System™ utilizes patented Dynamic Sensors™ to capture top and string vibration like never before. Created in partnership with renowned audio pioneer, Mr. Rupert Neve, the Taylor ES is seamlessly integrated into the design of the guitar from the ground up. Onboard tone controls provide added flavor, or set flat for an uncolored, exceptionally clean amplified sound.

Taylor Guitar 810ce Finish: Gloss
The finish used to create this guitar's lustrous gloss top, back, and sides was developed at Taylor for maximum durability and resistance to cold-checking. This ultra violet-cured finish is also more environmentally friendly than traditional lacquer finishes. Available finish options in this series are natural back, sides, and top, and natural back and sides with a tobacco or honey sunburst top.

Sweetwater Advice

Ryan Murphy
Taylor's 810ce has a huge sound! The solid rosewood body punches out a well-balanced low end tone which compliments the solid spruce top to produce a big sounding box that is larger than life. It's great for bluegrass players and rockers who need that BIG acoustic sound.

Our Customers Say...

Ninety-five percent of everything in this studio came from Sweetwater. My Sales Engineer is a lifesaver. I started working with him around 2005, talking to him about what my vision was for the studio. He was right there all the way.
