Access Performances

The Amadeus system is easy to hook up and use. Here is how it works. Thestudent enters his or her name and pick the lesson that they are assigned. The lesson canbe one that you have developed with the Amadeus Tutor program or it can be one of thepre-designed Standard of Excellence Book 1, 2 and 3 lessons. The program automaticallyplays and then records the performance of the student during the lesson session. Thegrades are recorded and a graph of the performance is displayed. All recorded informationcan be accessed at any time by the instructor for review or printout.

Develop Your Own Exercises!

With the Amadeus Tutor you can develop your own exercises, test passages, or completelesson plans. You simply use your favorite notation or sequencing software to create aStandard MIDI file. If you already have a MIDI file that you would like your student toperform you can even use that. Simply import your MIDI file into the Amadeus Tutor andanswer the questions that appear on your computer screen and you are ready to go.

During 1998 Amadeus hardware accuracy was improved through changes in firmware andcomponents. Easier operation was achieved by reworking the front panel. Amadeus Tutor wasrefined with changes in the grading portion of the program and by adding a graphic tunerto both platforms. Additional manual documentation and templates added make thedevelopment of your own exercises and lessons a breeze.
