STANDARD OF EXCELLENCE ASSESSMENT SOFTWARE, using Amadeus al Fine, is a newand innovative product combining the world's most successful band method with the power ofyour PC or Mac.
    

STANDARD OF EXCELLENCE and Amadeusal Fine allow your students to interact directly with the computer in a fun andeducational way. Students play music from the books into a microphone, and the computerautomatically evaluates and assesses their pitch and rhythmic performance. All studentrecords are logged, recorded, and available for future use.
     

It's easy. The student enters his or her nameand instrument and picks the lesson assigned by the instructor. All exercises contained inthat lesson are loaded for the student. The program provides an accompaniment andevaluates the performance of the student as he or she plays along. The grade and targetgoals are recorded as well as the date that the lesson was completed. This information canbe accessed at any time by the instructor for review or printout.
     

The software for Book 1 includes allband arrangements and exercises, warm-ups, duets, and GO FOR EXCELLENCE! lines.
