A Versatile, Compact, and Powerful Digital Field Recorder! The Sound Devices 744T digital 4-track recorder gives you a compact, file-based solution for easy and effective field recording applications. The 744T is capable of writing and reading uncompressed PCM audio at 16 or 24 bits, with sample rates between 32 and 192kHz. Compressed MP3 audio playback is also supported. The addition of timecode functionality, high-quality preamps, and two recording media (hard drive and Compact Flash) means you record and play back a huge amount of pristine audio just about anywhere with the 744T.
