The Wechter 6524F acoustic resonator guitar gives you the looks and sound you'd expect out of a classic resonator, but goes one better: improvements made to the dimensions, resonator baffle, and soundholes by renowned designer Tim Scheerhorn make the 6524F project and sound even better! This instrument includes a curly maple top, back, and sides, with a nato neck and rosewood fingerboard. It features vintage-style f-holes, die-cast tuning machines, and a beautiful finish - the 6524F looks nearly as amazing as it sounds! Wechter 6524F Acoustic Resonator Guitar at a Glance: Innovative design Quality construction A fine tradition Innovative design In 1988, designer Tim Scheerhorn began experimenting with resonator guitars to see if he could get them to sound better. by the mid-'90s, he had developed his skills and instruments to such a degree that he began building his own full-time. His innovative approach to the resonator's baffles and soundholes, as well as adjustments to the dimensions of the classic resonator body, resulted in some of the best-sounding instruments out there. Pairing Scheerhorn's designs with Wechter's quality manufacturing process means you get a great resonator guitar at a fraction of the cost of a "boutique" model. Quality construction In addition to the enhanced performance you get from the Scheerhorn-designed 6524F resonator, there's also the matter of quality construction and great materials. This model features a curly maple top, back and sides, nato neck, a rosewood fingerboard, and flush maple fingerboard markers and dot inlays.
