6010As Sound Too Good?!These speakers are really great but may be a little too expensive for what they're really worth. I've had this system for about 1 1/2 years now. I've mixed a few albums on them and a handful of singles. They sound great but when I say too good I mean that there isn't enough detail in these speakers for mixing. They really make your mix sound like it's gelling together but as soon as you take if to a different monitoring source you think, "It didn't sound like this when I mixed it..." These are great for listening to music but I wouldn't get them to use as my primary monitors for mixing.

Superb sound qualityThese monitors are really powerful, surprisingly good sounding and small in size. The subwoofer is not the best one for movies, because it's not able to play super-loud or low, but it's more than excellent for music.
The special thing about this 2.1 set is the crossover point between the satellites and the subwoofer. The satellites are able to play as low as 73hz, which means the subwoofer will play frequencies below that. And because those frequencies are impossible to localize by human ear, the subwoofer will integrate better to the system.
I highly recommend you taking this set for a listen, if you can. If you position it correctly (tweeters at ear level, subwoofer level correct etc.) you should be very impressed.
The only flaw in this system I see is price, but you definitely get what you pay for!
