Two Amazing Modules in One

The Model 583e EQ by LaChapell Audio is an ultra-clean 3-band EQ that features the same impressive Jensen JT-115k transformer-based input stage as that found in the Model 583s. There are two sections in the Model 583e: the preamp section and the EQ section. The preamp section features plenty of character, including the warmth and dynamic range of a 12AX7 tube. Each band of the completely transformerless EQ features a fixed Q with very low phase deviation, offering you completely transparent control over your sound. The EQ also sports a fully sweeping frequency control and a cut/boost range of +/-8dB. And since you can use the Model 583e's preamp and the EQ stages completely independently from one another, you're in complete control over the character, the coloration, and the expression of your audio.
