Traditional Design:
The Cordoba 55FCE doesn't skimp on construction. The 55FCE features traditional handmade classical guitar design, including the solid European spruce top with Spanish-style fan bracing. Fan bracing is preferred for classical guitars over lattice bracing, allowing the 55FCE's top to vibrate more freely while still providing evenly balanced tone.

Quality Tonewoods:
While the Cordoba 55FCE is inexpensive, Cordoba did not sacrifice quality materials. The solid flame maple back and sides set a powerful tonal foundation for the solid European spruce top, giving you the right balance of warmth and brightness. The neck is solid Spanish cedar, for maximum transfer of string energy to the spruce top. An ebony fingerboard and Indian rosewood bridge complete the elegant look.

Fishman electronics:
Cordoba's 55FCE features Fishman's Prefix Problend pickup system for ultimate plugged-in tone. The Problend system combines a piezo pickup with an internal mic, allowing you to blend the two signals to taste. So you get the snappy bite and presence of a piezo pickup, with the naturally warm and organic tones you can only get with a microphone. You'll love how the55FCE sounds plugged-in.
