As a long time user of the 528's, both through work and in my home studio, I can say this is a wonderful processor for most voice types. While it sounds good out of the box, spend some time tweaking the settings (especially if your a stickler for perfect audio) and you won't be dissapointed. Head over to the symetrix website and print off a few worksheets where you can document settings for each mic, especially helpful in broadcast situations. They don't call it the one channel console for nothin.
