Absolutely Fantastic !

The PRS 513 gives me every sound from warm Jazz to a screaming distorted solo with endless sustain. I have always wanted the feel and sustain of a Gibson Les Paul and the phase sound of a Fender Stratacaster in one guitar. The PRS 513 satisfied my need for a variety of sounds and more. I have been playing the guitar for over 35 years and this is the first time that I ordered a guitar and got more than I expected. The service from Sweetwater's sales engineer, Robert Williams, delivered what he promised. The PRS 513 was delivered on time and in excellent condition. The action was set up as I requested. I was very impressed with the quality of the craftmenship from Paul Reed Smith. PRS took a lot of care with every little detail on the body, the neck, and the electronics. That attention to detail made it really hard to put it down. The controls are clean, quiet, and smooth while operating them. The frets are a little higher than I expected but after a few songs the neck felt like an old friend. I have a Gibson ES 137 with high frets and it took a while to get used to them. The PRS 513 is a pleasure to play. I am not a fan of rectangle cases, however, the quality case for the PRS 513 was in excellent condition. Also, it did not have that glue smell, and it was well balanced. The PRS 513 does the job of 3 guitars for me. Thanks Paul Reed Smith and Sweetwater foreveything. Keep up the good work.
