Music Flash Cards presents important music material in a drill-and-practice format. Program lesson diskettes include nine lessons with user evaluation displayed at the end of each lesson. This program is perfect for a variety of skill levels and ages. Includes record keeping as part of the program. LEVEL I- Names of Notes Press the letter that matches the note name on the staff (either treble or bass).
- Name of Rhythmic Values Select the correct rhythm value for the symbol shown in either note values, rest values or note and rest values.
- How Many Choose the quantity of the first symbol that will equal the second symbol for notes or rests. For example, how many quarter notes are in one whole note?
- Add and Subtract Select the number of correct rhythm values for problem for either notes or rests. For example, a quarter note plus a quarter note equals?
LEVEL II- Major/Minor Scales Select the quality of the scale displayed (major, natural minor, harmonic minor or melodic minor).
- Modal Scales Select the quality of the scale displayed (Ionian, Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian, Aeolian or Locrian).
- Major/Minor Key Signatures Choose the name of the key signature displayed in Treble or Bass Clef and either major or minor keys. You can also select Sharp Keys or Flat Keys for each drill.
LEVEL III- Intervals Select the quality and the numeric value of the interval show (major, minor, augmented, diminished or perfect).
- Basic Chords Choose the quality of the chord shown in either root position or inversions.
MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Macintosh: 8MB Free RAM, System 7.1-8.x (2MB Free RAM, System 6.0.7), Apple External MIDI Interface (optional) and MIDI Compatible keyboard (optional). Five-Lab Packs, Network Licenses, and Site Licenses are available.
