Low-profile Design, Big Performance! The DPA Type 4065-BR headset wireless mic provides high performance in even the most demanding onstage environmens. Wired for use with the Shure TA4F bodypack, this 4065-BR features a very low-profile omnidirectional condenser mic, mounted in a comfortable, unobtrusive headband. This mic is built to handle humitity problems that can occur in high-energy performances without compromising its stellar sound quality, and its ability to withstand high SPLs (up to 144dB) makes the Type 4065-BR a worry-free performer! DPA Type 4065-BR Wireless Headband Condenser Microphone at a Glance: High performance Moisture resistant High SPL handling High performance The Type 4065-BR is the black version of the headband mounted condenser microphone Type 4065, bent to sit on the right side of the face. This type uses a prepolarized omnidirectional cartridge element with a 5.4 mm vertical diaphragm. It is specially designed for maximum performance under the often difficult conditions when mounted directly on the human body. The band is easily bent to fit any head shape, in a tight fixed position. Moisture resistant Special attention has been paid in the design to the humidity problems that often occur in theatrical applications and to the light weight construction of the headband itself. A double vent protection system, a drop stopper on the tube together with water resistant materials inside the microphone, make it more than difficult for the humidity to cause the Headband Microphone to fail. The sensitivity is 6 mV/Pa to match the level of the human voice to the general input sensitivity of most wireless transmitters. High SPL handling This mic is built to handle sound pressure levels up to 144dB SPL before clipping occurs. Wired for Shure TA4F bodypacks, the Type 4065-BR is excellent for onstage use.
