16-channel Mixer with USB & MP3 Peavey continues to produce quality gear for studio and stage with the 16FX 16-channel mixer .The new 16FX mixing consoles feature exclusive Silencer mic preamps (.0007% THD), dual digital effects processors, and a USB port that provides recording and playback capability via a computer or flash drive. Peavey 16FX Mixing Console at a Glance:
High gain and low distortion from Silencer preamps Peavey's 16FX mixer features new, Peavey-exclusive technology to enhance live sound reproduction and project studio recording, including Silencer mic preamps, which allow very high gain with low noise and distortion for crystal-clear signal reproduction. The Silencer is a state-of-the-art, low impedance preamp engineered with selected extremely low noise transistors with a wide dynamic range to accommodate any type of microphone or other low impedance source. USB port for MP3 recording or data transfer The Peavey 16FX also features a USB port that allows streaming of digital audio directly to a computer or flash drive ("memory stick") with built-in MP3 compression. Users can save to a flash drive via USB port A, or use both USB ports (A & B) to send the stereo output to a computer or hard disc for MP3 recording. With this feature, sound engineers and musicians can compress a live performance or rehearsal directly from the 16FX, then upload their work to the Internet or produce their own CD recordings instantly. Six aux sends per channel The four pre-fader auxes per channel facilitate monitoring for live sound or recording, while the two post-fader auxes are ideal for adding effects (those built-in or outboard). Peavey's 16FX also includes dual digital effects processors to allow multiple simultaneous effects assignable to any channel via auxiliaries 5 and 6. The many onboard effects include reverb, delay, compression, de-esser, chorus and gate/expander. Fully editable effects onboard The Peavey16FX allows editing of effects with a library for each effect. There are two output processors operable in three modes-L/R stereo, L/R mono and L-mains/R-subwoofer with crossover-as well as additional digital processing such as delay, limiter and 1/3 octave graphic or seven-band parametric EQ. Peavey's 16FX mixers also includes three-band EQ with mid sweep, 80 Hz low-cut filters and insert points on all channels; four subgroups with insert points; and headphone output. On Peavey's 16FX, the last two channels have stereo 1/4" and XLR inputs with separate gain controls so a microphone and CD can be used simultaneously without giving up a channel. The stereo input can be assigned directly to the left/right outputs. Peavey 16FX 16-channel Mixer Features:
The Peavey 16FX Mixing Console packs a ton of features into an affordable board!
