From Our Research Team:
Taylor's Distinctive Sound in an Affordable Dreadnought CutawayThe Taylor 110ce is an affordable alternative for the beginning guitarist or an "extra" guitar for the seasoned player, with an extremely rich and versatile voice. The 110ce's rich tone is now amplified with the ES-T sytem. This full-sized, solid spruce top and laminated sapele sides dreadnought delivers the Taylor guitar experience with a lively tone.
Taylor 110ce Acoustic/Electric Guitar at a Glance:
Classic dreadnought volume combined with clear treble
A traditional shape refined, the 110ce combines classic dreadnought volume and bass response with the definitive Taylor sound: clear trebles and an open, airy midrange that Bob Taylor's signature design accentuates. Like all dreadnoughts, the 110e responds especially well to flatpicking or light-to-heavy strumming.
Solid spruce top and ebony fingerboard
The 110ce's solid Sitka spruce top and laminated sapele back and sides make for crisp and well-defined sound in this versatile mid-priced guitar. The mahogany neck is combined with an ebony fingerboard. A durable varnish finish offers protection, good looks, and a smooth feel to the touch.
Taylor ES-T electronics
Derived from the Taylor Expression System, the ES-T Under-saddle transducer and electronics are optimized for the 100 and 200 Series. This system features onboard bass, treble, and volume controls, plus custom-voiced EQ and dynamic response.
Taylor 110ce Acoustic/Electric Guitar Features:
The Taylor 110ce is an excellent "first" OR "second" guitar!

by Deanna Shuman from Angola, INI have basal joint arthritis in my left thumb which causes problems forming chords. This guitar is AMAZING to play. I am able to Barre chord without much of a problem. I tried every manufacturer an... read more [+]d this was the best. I am very impressed with the richness of its tone. It is bright as well as warm which I think is hard to find. The electronics are amazing, also. I recently played in church and had many compliments on the sound that was projected! Thank you Sweetwater and Taylor!!! close [-]

Music Background: Musician
by Chad from LaGrange, INSo, I am not a professional musician but I have been playing for a little while now and have recently started playing with the church band. I was playing a Fender CD 140 SCE and I really liked it and... read more [+] thought it sounded pretty good. I went to Sweetwater to look for a new guitar and I was ready to sit and play many brands in many price points, but I wanted to stay under $1000. As soon as I heard the Taylor 100 series guitars I fell in love with the sound and realized that the Fender is pretty shallow sounding compared the full sound of a Taylor (although the Fender sounds great for the price). I was playing a 114ce and thought it was a little light in the volume area so I asked if they had a 110ce. They brought it right out and set it up so I could A/B the two guitars. I fell in love with the 110ce. I obviously left the store with it and when I got home, I realized I could not have made a better choice. What a beautiful sounding guitar. Now I know why people buy Taylor guitars. close [-]
