I am giving this a 5 star because this is the first time in a long time that for less than $xxx.xx I am completely satisfied. Awesome action and tone like some that I've payed over $1K+ for in the pas... read more [+]t. The case is heavy duty, but it's still a soft case and not worth a crap for real confident protection. This was almost in perfect tune when I got it through the ground shipping. I was surprised the neck didn't break from not being de-tuned, but,I either got lucky or these are that sturdy. It's basic without any frills like inlay's ect., but I wanted something that was basic for basic playing and not having to worry about. Now I am afraid of damage because I like it so much. Anyone thinking about a purchase, do a sit down next to any and all of your favorites and compare. For me, this was a hands down win. Zero regrets and would highly recommend. The bigger names are getting a ton more money for the same build. 25+ years in the field. These are a must check out, and Sweetwater took real good care in the service area and everything went smooth. They took the time to make sure I got what I wanted. Zero issues on their end as well. Trust me, I've looked through so many guitars in this price range and even above this price range from other brands like Martin, Breedlove, etc. This one blows most away.
