Customer Reviewsfrom Virginia, USA May 25, 2010 Music Background: studio owner These monitors are among the BestMonitors and Mikes are where sound waves change to and from electrical impulses. It is how you can tell a great studio from an average one. I have used a number of monitors, from JBL L100s (the old days), Tannoys, Mackies, Events, and nothing compares to the Genelec 1032A for clarity, tight response, accuracy and volume handling capability. From vocals choirs, to acoustic guitar to heavy rock bands, they do it all well and ease your mix. I've had a pair for several years and I would not trade them for anything in this price range. Maybe at $10K and above, or with a custom installation, you can do a bit better, but in the $5K mid-field space these cannot be beat.from Porto,Portugal August 25, 2009 Music Background: Recording engineer, Music Producer SHARP!!!Must say that I made a very good choice on buying these ones. You have lows, meds and highs all in the same box, sounding clear! With or without your room treated acoustically they work like a pearl!! Get them!! from Johannesburg, South Africa February 11, 2009 Music Background: Award-Winning Producer/Mixer Crighton GoodwillI must say, I've always been a Genelec fan but I love the pristine clarity at loud volumes on these monitors. My favorite gear in my setup.from Chicago,Ill October 7, 2008 Music Background: Recording Engineer, Pro Musician It's not cheapest but it's the bestthe only mid near field that I set up so fast and I trust with any kind of music project in my studio. It's so acurate that I dont have to listen to the project outside the studio in order to finalize it. |
