This footswitch seems to be a bit more substantial than the earlier Fender model. It's a footswitch & it seems to work just fine. I like it.

It works but is difficult to use in a live situation the black plasctic sides stick up an 1/8th of an inch making it difficult to properly switch the channels. I often step on it and it cant tell that... read more [+] if I am trying to change the channel or not so it switches back and forth and sometimes I get this quick crackling noise during the channel change that is obviously not good when your changing to the clean channel and you hear this crackle. I have never had this problem with a footswitch before. close [-]
