With the Digidesign 003, the latest generation of Pro Tools LE interfaces has arrived! Building on the success of the hugely successful 002, the 003 takes all the built-in functionality of its predecessor and ups the ante with redesigned preamps and superior A/D conversion, plus a jog/shuttle wheel allows for easily moving through the session timeline. The 003 preamps are the latest generation mic pre for Pro Tools LE interfaces, and use discrete, bi-polar, low-noise transistors coupled with a cleaner signal flow and improved pots. The 003 is also equipped with word clock I/O making it super-easy to sync Pro Tools LE with external digital devices. Also new to the 003 is a pair of control room outputs in addition to the dedicated monitor outputs. The 002 revolutionized the home studio, and the 003 continues that with additional "wow"-factor features.

The 003 sports all the features that made the 002 the centerpiece of countless home and project studios worldwide, but also raises the bar by packing in some very cool new specs that pros will love, too. The addition of word clock I/O allows myriad digital sources to by synced to the 003. Plus, the 003 sports a pair of headphone outputs with independent volume controls so monitoring is even more flexible than before. The preamps and A/D convertors have been revamped meaning the new 003 sounds even better than before. Rounding out the new feature set is a shuttle/jog wheel that lets you zip around your sessions with a single finger. Needless to say, the 003 takes something that was great - the 002 - and makes it even better with a load of perfomance-enhancing new features.

Nothing beats the feel of faders beneath your fingers, and the 003 has eight faders and eight rotary encoders to handle all your mixing needs, plus transport control is built right in.
