| Roland Fantom X Series |
|

The Roland Fantom-X Series gives musicians nearly 1GB of wave memory when fully expanded, and powerful 128-note polyphony. The synthesis section's new waves include a gorgeous 88-key split stereo-sampled piano, plus room for 4 SRX expansion cards. The sampler can be upgraded to 544MB of RAM, which provides enough recording time to use it like a digital recorder. Roland upgraded the Fantom-X with a new operating system, which adds eight stereo linear audio tracks to the Fantom's sequencer, which can be played back from any point in the song, and can be synchronized with the MIDI tracks via real-time time-stretching.
