Consonance
The opposite of dissonance. A combination of two or more tones that form a pleasing harmony with one another. Perfect consonances occur at intervals of fourths or fifths; imperfect consonances [slightly less pleasing or harmonically perfect to the ear] are major and minor thirds and sixths.
