One of the coolest features of Native Instruments Guitar Rig 3 is its two separate Tapedeck modules. Tapedeck One will play your audio files so that you can jam along with them. It accepts WAV, AIFF, and MP3 formats of up to 16-bit resolution. Tapedeck One will also record the clean guitar tone coming into Guitar Rig. If you want to record your processed, ultra-cool Guitar Rig creation, you'll need to use Tapedeck Two for that. Thus you could play your prerecorded backing track using Tapedeck One and solo over it using your favorite Guitar Rig preset with Tapedeck Two.
