Q: What makes the Mbox 2 Micro different from other members of the Mbox 2 family?

A: The short answer is this latest MBox 2 release is actually an "output only" interface - you can't record audio into Pro Tools through the Mbox 2 Micro. That means it's great for taking your Pro Tools sessions (up to 24-bit/48kHz) on the road with you for completely mobile editing, mixing, or playback of your latest masterpiece. This is Digidesign's answer to all those Pro Tools users worldwide who requested a way to edit and mix with Pro Tools LE wherever they might go.
